how do I place an order for prepared meals?

Click "shop" at the top of this page, read through the ordering info, and then click through to the online store to select your meals, arrange delivery, and purchase with a credit card.

why am I only being offered pickup at checkout?

This is likely because the address you've entered is outside our usual delivery zone, or because your browser entered a default address the website doesn't recognize-. To resolve the latter, from the checkout page look for text reading "Ontario, Canada"; click here and a box should pop up where you can update your postal code. Still not working? Send us a message, we're happy to help!

how does pickup work?

If you prefer, you can pick up your order from our shared kitchen space in Gloucester (available from 1-3 pm on Mondays only, 5340 Canotek Rd unit 21). During summer months we can also arrange pickup at our booth at Parkdale Night Market on Wednesdays 5-9pm!

how much is delivery and what is your delivery zone?

We offer flat rate delivery via courier! It's $10+hst within 15km of our kitchen, $15+hst within 20km, or $20+hst within 40km.

how long do the meals last in the fridge?

All salad bowls are best if consumed within 3 days, and should be consumed within 5 at most. Use your judgement when eating meals after 3 days (especially for bowls containing brown rice).

can I order some food for a friend in need/as a gift?

Yes! We're happy to prepare large format sizes of our regular menu items, or discuss other off menu options by special request. Send us a message and we can make arrangements.

can you cater my meeting/event/wedding?

It's possible! Send us a message and we can make arrangements (note that we don't offer serving staff/dishes etc)

is it possible to order without a credit card?

Yes--send us a message and we can make arrangements for payment via EMT.

do you know the nutritional facts/calories/carbs for the meals?

Nope. We aren't required to list them for this kind of quick service/takeout food, and we're glad. Because of my personal history of disordered eating and the values of Hungry Babe, I try not to think about calories ever. If you'd like to figure these numbers out for yourself, I'm happy to provide ingredient quantities on request.

do you have gluten free/soy free/nut free options?

All meals our are 100% vegan, and several Hungry Babe menu items are free common allergen ingredients, however our shared kitchen space and equipment processes gluten/soy/nuts, so we cannot guarantee meals will be free of cross contamination.

do you have low carb options?

No way man.
